Astro Announcements 11/4/24

Good Morning Astros! Here are today's announcements for athletics and clubs.  Picture Retake Day will be on Wednesday November 6th from 8-12pm in the Stockbridge Theater. For those having a retake photo taken, please bring with you the original picture package to give to a Mark Lawrence Photographer.  If you are interested in film and television production, join Astro Media Club every Monday! No experience necessary! The Citizenship Committee and The Social Studies Department are hosting a 5 day trip to Washington D.C from April 26th to the 30th in 2025. They will be visiting various museums, including the Holocaust Museum, the Capitol, the White House, all of the monuments, and maybe even the National Zoo. Contact Mr. O'Neil or Mr. Konstant for more information. Flyers will be posted around campus to register. Limited spots available. CSI: Forensics Club is hosting a Thanksgiving gone wrong Murder Mystery on November 7th at 2:10pm in Room 305 of the Science Building. Anyone is welcome to check out their mystery skills.  Poetry Out Loud is still looking for more participants! Poetry Out Loud is a national competition where you recite any poem of your choice for the chance to win various prizes! Winners have the chance to compete at the state and national level! If you are interested email Mrs. Marsden at smarsden@pinkertonacademy.org or sign up for FLEX any time before Thanksgiving break!
