HiSET at the Upper Room

Current P.A. student?  Please schedule an appointment with your school counselor to discuss your options. If you are not a current P.A. student please email us, [email protected], or give us a call at 437-5200 x1111 to discuss your options.

STUDENTS MUST HAVE AN UP-TO-DATE DRIVER'S LICENSE, STATE ISSUED NON-DRIVER ID OR PASSPORT PRIOR TO APPLYING TO THE HiSET PROGRAM.

Housed off campus at The Upper Room, 36 Tsienneto Road in Derry, 16-20 year old, junior and senior students receive assistance in preparing for the High School Equivalency Test (HiSET) and exploring college and career options for continued success beyond high school. Arrangements are made through the school counselor in collaboration with the PACE Director for students to take the HiSET pre-test at The Upper Room. Depending on pre-test scores, application, transcript review, interview, and space availability, students will transfer to The Upper Room and will attend classes either Monday-Friday from 8:30-11:30 or Monday-Friday from 11:45-2:45.

Students interested in the HiSET Program should schedule an appointment with their school counselor, NOT contact The Upper Room directly.

Students enrolled in the HiSET @ The Upper Room Program should contact The Upper Room for questions/attendance purposes.
