Astro Announcements 11/8/24

Good Morning Astros! Here are today's announcements for athletics and clubs.  The Next Prayerful Generations meeting is today, in Room Z-100 from 2:10-3:10pm. The Citizenship Committee and The Social Studies Department are hosting a 5 day trip to Washington D.C from April 26th to the 30th in 2025. They will be visiting various museums, all of the monuments, and maybe even the National Zoo. Contact Mr. O'Neil or Mr. Konstant for more information. Flyers will be posted around campus to register. Limited spots available. Poetry Out Loud is still looking for more participants! Poetry Out Loud is a national competition where you recite any poem of your choice for the chance to win various prizes! Winners have the chance to compete at the state and national level! If you are interested email Mrs. Marsden or sign up for FLEX any time before Thanksgiving break!   Whether you can dance, sing, juggle, tell jokes, or play music, come audition for Pinkerton's Got Talent, hosted by the FBLA club! Auditions take place after school November 12th, 13th, and 14th in Low Building second floor, Room 210. Just show up! Reach out to Mrs. Harvey if you have questions.  Crochet Club is open during flex Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays in the student library room. Anyone is welcome to join throughout the week.  Tonight, the Football team has their NHIAA playoff game vs Merrimack at 7pm. Wear red! There will also be a cookout on the field from 5-6:30pm.  Tomorrow, Girls Volleyball has their NHIAA Championship game at 10am in the Hackler.  Also tomorrow, the Boys and Girls Cross Country team have a meet at 11:30am and 12:15pm at Wickham Park.   Lastly, tomorrow Girls Soccer has their NHIAA Championship game vs Winnacunnet at 1pm at Memorial High School.  On Sunday, the Cheer team has their NHIAA Championship competition at 12:15pm in the Hackler.  Good luck to all the teams competing in their NHIAA games!
