Before long, the first day of your freshman year at Pinkerton will be here! We know the transition can be daunting, but we want you to know that we are here to help every step of the way -- from our Freshman Academy building to our dedicated School Counseling staff for first-year students. C.T.E. Career Awareness Program (CAP) Night
C.T.E. Career Awareness Program (CAP) Night is scheduled for November 20, 2025 from 5:00 p.m. -- 6:30 p.m. in the Academy Building.
JOIN US FOR THE CAREER & AWARENESS PROGRAM!
For students & families in grades 9th, 10th, 11th and current 8th graders who are interested in or will be attending Pinkerton in the 26-27 school year.
This event will be divided into 2 parts: A Career Awareness fair & Career Awareness Program presentation - giving students and parents the opportunity to learn all about C.T.E. discovery classes & full year programs and learn how to do some pre-planning of high school courses.
Sessions of fun, interactive displays from C.T.E. and ROTC programs will also be represented. Families will hear from current students enrolled in C.T.E. & ROTC programs, first hand student experiences and opportunities here at Pinkerton Academy.

8th GRAde PReview Night
8th Grade Preview Night is scheduled for January 6, 2026 from 6:00 p.m. -- 7:30 p.m. in the Stockbridge Theatre (Arts and Humanities Building).
Parents/Guardians and future Pinkerton students are invited to attend (or view) an orientation meeting at the Academy, which will present the course selection process and provide a preview of Pinkerton’s academic and extracurricular programs. This event will be live-streamed on Pinkerton Academy's YouTube channel.
Course NIGht
Course Night is scheduled for January 15, 2026 from 5:30 p.m. -- 8:00 p.m. in the Academy Building.
We hope that by attending Course Night, parents and students will be better prepared to make decisions about course selections for the 2026-2027 school year. Attendance at this event is optional. Families can arrive and leave at any of the times within the 2.5-hour window.
Electives Information Day
Electives Information Day is scheduled for January 26, 2026 from 9:15 a.m. -- 1:25 p.m. at Pinkerton Academy.
Our sending-town 8th grade students will be bused to campus to attend a day highlighting our CTE, JROTC, World Language, and Fine Arts Departments. Out-of-district/tuition/homeschooled students are welcome to attend as well. For more information, email Rosa Matos.
