About

The Pinkerton Academy Hall of Fame seeks to honor outstanding individuals who are or were associated with the Academy and have made exceptional contributions to Pinkerton Academy as a student, in society or a combination of both. Selections are made on the following criteria:

• Recognition by his/her peers for a high level of achievement in his/her field, making significant contributions to that field at the state, national, or international levels.
• Is a role model of Pinkerton's core values: Courtesy, Respect, and Responsibility.
• Demonstrated leadership, character, and service; and has shared his/her expertise and initiatives at the community, state, or national level.

The Honorary Alumnus Award is a special recognition from the Pinkerton Academy Alumni Association, given to non-graduates who have demonstrated extraordinary service and dedication to the Academy.

The Honored Alumnus Award is a special recognition from the Pinkerton Academy Alumni Association, given to individuals who have demonstrated an exceptional, long-time affection and devotion to the school and to the Alumni Association.

The Trustees' Meritorious Service Award is not an annual award but given when a member of the Pinkerton community is recognized for consistent and meritorious service to the Academy and its mission.

The Alan B. Shepard Award is given annually to faculty and staff to recognize exceptional job performance and contributions that support the school's vision and mission.

Nominated by other employees, the Astro Awards recognize and promote positive behaviors while supporting students, other employees, community individuals, groups or departments while achieving the institution's mission, vision, and values.
