About the Stockbridge Theatre

Our Mission

The Mission of the Stockbridge Theatre is to inspire artists, audiences, and our community through great
performances, enriching experiences, and engaging educational programming. Through arts education and
community outreach programs, the Stockbridge is committed to providing cultural enrichment for both young
audiences and the public at large by increasing their exposure to the arts. It is our belief that everyone should
be able to engage with the arts in an inclusive environment.

The Stockbridge Theatre is located on the campus of Pinkerton Academy in Derry, NH. Built in 2002, the Stockbridge Theatre offers a variety of performances of live music, drama, and dance. Students and patrons alike can experience and interact with some of the foremost artists of our time.  The space is also home to numerous cultural events sponsored by both student and community organizations.

The Stockbridge is also proud to provide a home for Pinkerton student performances. The rising stars of tomorrow are showcased through the Pinkerton Chorus, Band, and Dance programs, as well as the plays and musicals of the Pinkerton Players.

We look forward to seeing you at a show!

LAND ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

The Stockbridge Theatre is located on the traditional lands and waterways of the Abenaki, Pennacook and other related Wabanaki Peoples past and present. We acknowledge and honor with gratitude the land itself and the people who have loved and taken care of it throughout the generations. We do this to pay respect and inspire curiosity among non-Native peoples, and make an effort to halt the erasure of Indigenous history. We invite you to join us in supporting Indigenous communities, both locally and globally.
