Astro Announcements 10/18/24

Good Morning Astros! Here are today’s announcements for athletics and clubs.
Next week is Red Ribbon Week-This year’s theme is Life is a Movie Film Drug Free. On Monday, wear your favorite kicks. On Tuesday, wear your favorite jersey. On Wednesday, wear your pajamas. On Thursday, wear neon. On Friday, wear red to show your support for a drug free life. There will be a school picture on the baseball field during flex for everyone who wears red! Since this year’s theme is Life is a Movie Film Drug Free, all flex groups are invited to compete in a PSA film contest. There are prizes for the 3 best PSA’s! Next week, sign the pledge to live drug free! Check out the Red Ribbon Week table in the cafeteria to sign the pledge. Everyone who signs the pledge will be entered into a raffle for a prize.
The Prayerful Generation’s next meeting is Today from 2:10-3:10pm in Room 209 of the Shepard Building.
The first ever Podcasting Club is having meetings on Wednesdays, after school, in the library until 3:15pm. All are welcome.
The Investment Club’s next meeting is on October 21st from 2:15-3pm in Ms. Wright's Room- 6208 in the Academy Building.
The Elementary Spanish Program is having a meeting on October 22nd at 2:15pm at Room 204.
Debate Club is having their first meeting on Tuesday, October 22nd, at 2:15pm after school in Room Z-432.
FBLA will be selling candy grams during lunches from Tuesday, October 15th to Friday, October 25th. We´ll distribute your candy grams during flex from October 28th to October 31st! October is Breast Cancer Awareness month, so all profits from this fundraiser will be donated to the American Cancer Society Road To Recovery® program, which provides free rides to cancer-related medical appointments.
Football has a game today vs Manchester Central at 7pm. Wear camo!
Tomorrow, Boys Cross Country has a meet @ Memorial at 9:30am.
Also Tomorrow, Girls Soccer has a game @ Nashua South at 11am.
On Monday, Girls Volleyball has a game vs Merrimack at 5:15pm.
