Good Morning Astros! Here are today’s announcements for athletics and clubs.

Prayerful Generation is having their next club meeting Today, October 4th from 2:15-3:15pm in Room 209 in the Shepard Building. 

The Investment Club’s next meeting will be on Monday October 7th at 2:15pm in Room 6208 in the Freshman Academy.

The Spanish Club is having their first meeting and making quesadillas and tacos on October 8th in Room 204 at 2:15pm.

Poetry Out Loud is a national arts education program that encourages the study of great poetry by offering recitation competitions for high school students across the country. Winners then may advance to a regional and state competition, and ultimately to the national finals.  If you are interested in participating or want more information, sign up for FLEX on October 8th or 9th with Mrs. Marsden in Room Z-432. Meetings will be during FLEX on Wednesdays.

Seniors, if you have started the year with an unweighted GPA of an 88.0 and meet the necessary academic credits, you have received an email from Mrs. Lemire, inviting you to apply for NHS. All applications are due back no later than Friday, October 11th by 2:30pm via email to Mrs. Lemire. Email Mrs. Lemire or stop by Room 430 with questions. If you are in NHS already, you do not need to reapply.

Attention Mathematicians! Math Honors Society applications are now open. If eligible, you received an email with a link to the application. Applications are due Friday, October 11th. Late applications will not be accepted. See Mr. Torro if you have any questions. 

Join the Crochet Group held in the library during Flex Tuesdays, Wednesday, and Thursdays. Supplies are provided. Sign up on Enriching students if interested.

If you are interested in Manga and Anime join the library's Manga Club. Meetings are held on Thursday after school beginning September 26th. All are welcome!

The first ever Podcasting Club is having meetings on Wednesdays, after school, in the library until 3:15pm. All are welcome.

School Counseling is offering fall college visits for all of October. Seniors should go into their Naviance account and register when they want to go for a college visit. Seniors need permission from their teacher before they can come to the School Counseling Office.

Girls Field Hockey has a game today @ Portsmouth at 6pm. 

Football has a game today vs Salem at 7pm. Wear black!

Cross Country has a meet tomorrow @ Alvirne at 2pm.
