Astro Announcements 9/24/24

Good morning Astros! Here are today’s announcements for athletics and clubs!  Photography Club is having their first meeting Today, September 24th in Room Z-518. Students do not need expensive cameras or special equipment. Prayerful Generation is hosting a “See You At The Pole” event for any students at Pinkerton who would like to gather at the flagpole across from the clocktower to pray for our school community, students, and teachers on Wednesday, September 25th from 6:40-7:05am. Book Club is having its first meeting on Thursday, September 26th DURING FLEX. Our first book is Fourth Wing by Rebecca Yarros. See Mrs. Smith in Room 6-108A if you have any questions. If you are interested in Manga and Anime join the library's Manga Club. Meetings are held on Thursday after school beginning September 26th. All are welcome! The Elementary Spanish Program is having their first meeting on Thursday, September 26th in Room L-204. The application can be found online through Instagram or by scanning the QR code on the posters in the English Building.  The deadline is Friday, September 27th. Contact Mr. Lemire with any questions. The Social Studies Honor Society is accepting applications until Friday, September 27th. If you are interested in joining, find us on Instagram or scan a QR code located in Social Studies classrooms! Email Ms. Flint for more information. Join the Crochet Group held in the library during Flex on Tuesdays, Wednesday, and Thursdays Supplies are provided. Underclassmen Photo Days will take place on October 2nd and 3rd (White and Red Days). Students will have their photos taken during their English classes in the upper lobby levels of the Stockbridge Theatre. Information about ordering photo packages have been sent via email and can be found on the Critic Instagram account: pacriticyb. If you have any questions, please contact Mr. Cain in Room Z-415.
