Bass Fishing
Bass Fishing Tryouts - Thursday 8/11 at Wason Pond
We will be conducting tryouts for the Bass Fishing team on Thursday 8/11 at Wason Pond in Chester from 1pm till 4 pm. Please bring fishing equipment and tackle. We will have a brief meeting and students will be able to fish from shore.
We will also have tryouts on the water on Friday 8/12 at Beaver Lake in Derry from 10 am till 4 pm. Student Anglers will be assigned a launch time to be at the boat launch for a one hour team fishing tryout/ practice. Parents or Guardians will be required to be with Students while waiting to insure their safety.
We will have a final tryout practice session on Lake Massabisic on Monday 8/15 from 10 am till 4 pm. Student Anglers will be assigned time slots
Parents will be required to be on Shore while there student is present on shore to insure there safety.
Students are required to be signed up on Family ID and submit a current physical to the Athletic Dept.
Students that are 16yrs old will be required to have a state of NH fresh water fishing license.
Student anglers are requested to only bring up to 2 rod and reel set ups and a small amount of tackle equipment on the boat. If you have your own life vest you are encouraged to bring it otherwise it will be provided and you are required to wear it the whole time you are on the boat.
We are looking forward to our Anglers to enjoy this opportunity and learn from there experiences.
