Pinkerton Academy's Contracted Sending Towns
Since 1948 Pinkerton has enjoyed close, cooperative relations with several area school districts, entering into long-term agreements that are still close, strong, and thriving today. Pinkerton serves as the high school of record, completing the K-12 educational path for the students from these sending towns. Currently, students from Auburn, Candia, Chester, Derry, Hampstead, and Hooksett attend Pinkerton as their high school. Students who reside in our six sending towns will be admitted into Pinkerton through our registrar, except under unusual circumstances. Currently, students from Auburn, Chester, Derry, Hampstead, Hooksett and Candia attend Pinkerton as their high school of record. For new students and families residing in one of our six sending towns before the start of the school year, registration dates are set on specific dates in August and you must call for an appointment prior to registration. Please note that new registrations will not be done during the first few days of school.

Parents who are planning to register their high school student, need to take the following steps:
- Students must be officially withdrawn from previous school.
- Parent MUST obtain the following records from the previous school:
- Unofficial Transcript including final grades and credits (if going into grades 10-12)
- Final 8th grade report card and proof of promotion (if going into grade 9)
- Immunization Records & Most Recent Physical
- I.E.P. and most recent testing (if special education coded)
- Parent must provide whatever applies in step 2 as well as Proof of Residency and Proof of Custody and the student's birth certificate. Acceptable forms of residency proof are a lease, tax bill, or mortgage statement. These documents must be in the name of the parent who is registering the student. Nothing else will be accepted. If you are divorced, you must provide legal documentation that you are the custodial parent. Students will not be allowed to start school without these documents.
- Complete a release of records, giving Pinkerton permission to acquire records from another school.
Parent will be given an appointment time with the counselor:
- Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your appointment time with the counselor.
- You will meet with the registrar first.
- You will be expected to provide all the necessary paperwork at this time, if you have not already.
The entire process will take approximately 1 hour. The student must be with you for your appointment.
