School Counseling
Thanks for visiting the School Counseling pages. We have so much information to share with you and we try to offer something for everyone so check back often! Whether you are a student or parent, interested in support for your academics or looking to plan for life after high school, we are here for you. Counselors and specialists offer individual appointments, answer emails, offer support groups, information sessions, hold workshops, and can advocate or mediate through simple or difficult situations with you. All you have to do is ask!
School Counseling Mission Statement
Each unique, developing, capable student grows personally, socially and educationally throughout adolescence. Respectful of individual differences, our school counseling program assists and supports students as they begin to understand themselves, develop decision-making, problem solving skills, and plans for the future. In addition to providing educational and career information, the program seeks to promote each student’s desire to maximize his/her potential in preparation for success in further education or a career. Counseling promotes effective communication and life planning skills that help students grow in all aspects of their life.
School Counseling Vision Statement
Our counseling program strives to provides comprehensive, developmental and preventative services to ensure every student reaches their highest potential in the areas of academics, career, and personal/social development. Through counseling and consultation experiences, with a data-driven and collaborative approaches, students acquire knowledge, skills and attitudes that encourage them to be effective students, responsible citizens, productive workers and life long learners in an ever-changing world.
