February 23rd, 2023

On Tuesday, February 21st, 112 students were inducted into the National Technical Honor Society (NTHS) for the 2022-2023 school year. These students were selected for their outstanding academic achievements, leadership qualities, and dedication to their Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs. At least one student from each of Pinkerton's 18 recognized CTE programs was inducted.

To be eligible for NTHS, students must be in the final year of their CTE program (Level 2), have a minimum unweighted GPA of 3.0 (85) by fall progress reports, have a 90 or higher in their CTE program by fall progress reports, and have no single course grade below a 65 for the school year preceding nomination. Additionally, students must be focused on a CTE pathway or major and must adhere to Pinkerton Academy's standards to remain a member in good standing of the NTHS.

"We are thrilled to recognize these students for their hard work and dedication to their CTE programs," said Pinkerton Academy CTE Director Jennifer Haskins. "Their commitment to their education and passion for their chosen pathways is truly inspiring, and we look forward to seeing what they accomplish in the future."

The National Technical Honor Society is the highest award for excellence in CTE education, and Pinkerton Academy is proud to have so many students recognized for their achievements. They represent the best and brightest of Pinkerton Academy's CTE programs, and we congratulate them on their induction into the National Technical Honor Society.
