Good afternoon,

Wow! School spirit has been fantastic this week! Walking around campus each day, it has been great to see how many students and staff have gotten involved with each theme. Red and white day today has been the best of the whole week, and the excitement at the pep rally today was awesome. There is nothing like Astro pride.

I hope you’ll carry the enthusiasm from the week into the Mack Plaque games this weekend as we face Londonderry to keep the plaque! So far the golf and cross country teams have all won, and we lead the competition 3-0.  The competition continues this weekend at Londonderry, so go and support your Astros. Cheer will be the final event in November. You can find the schedule for this weekend’s contests here.

The Homecoming/Mack Plaque dance is this Saturday in the fieldhouse. Please review the important information that Mrs. Tartarilla sent out earlier this week. We want the dance to be fun and enjoyable for everyone. 

This week David Dorfman Dance Company performed in the Stockbridge Theatre.  Students enrolled in our dance classes participated in a master class with the company ahead of the performance in the theater. We are very fortunate to have a vibrant arts program on campus and to have programming at the Stockbridge that supports our students with these unique opportunities. 

Earlier this week information was sent out about our Open House scheduled for Wednesday, September 28th. You can find more information including times and locations on campus on our website. We hope many of you will be able to attend.
