Good afternoon,

This morning we completed our stage 2 evacuation drill. Running drills, such as these, changes the school day, but is important to ensure that we are practicing all aspects of the work and plans that are put in place for an emergency. We thank our students, faculty, and staff for their work during this drill and also for the assistance of the Derry Police Department and New Hampshire Homeland Security for observing and giving us feedback. A special thank you to Mrs. Tartarilla, Mr. Kester, and members of the incident command team for running a successful drill. 

Today was Purple Up! for Military Kids. A special thank you to Mrs. Tuttle and the Purple Stars Club for their efforts in supporting military families. You can learn more on our website. 

The World Language Honor Society held its induction ceremony last week. The ceremony honored the new inductees who have shown mastery in the language they are taking while also maintaining good academic standing in their classes and being involved in our communities. You can find a list of all the new inductees on the website.

Next week we recognize Neurodiversity Week, and we encourage all members of our community to participate in the themes of each day. You can find them on our website and social media.
