Weekly Update 6/20/2023
June 20th, 2023
Good afternoon,
As we come to the end of another school year, it is time to reflect on the journey we have had. We are so very proud of our students, educators, staff, and everyone who has contributed to making this school year a success!
Despite some difficult challenges that impacted our community, we came together to persevere. Our students showed grit and determination, adapting to new learning environments and embracing the opportunities for growth. Their resilience has been inspiring.
Our teachers and staff have continued to dedicate time, energy, and commitment to our students’ education, and we are grateful for all that they do. They constantly go above and beyond to create new learning experiences, and their passion and dedication are inspiring. We are grateful for all that they do.
The unwavering support and partnership of our parents and guardians has been invaluable. We know the essential role you play in your child’s success. Thank you for being our trusted allies on this journey.
Let's not forget the amazing Class of 2023! You have accomplished something truly remarkable, and we could not be more proud. Your hard work, determination, and resilience have prepared you for the next chapter of your life. Are we there yet? is about the journey and not just the destination. Dream big and reach for the stars!
Our campus will be busy this summer with many summer programs that range from academics to the arts, athletics to CTE. We are also breaking ground on a construction project that will replace the Social Studies Wing. As we progress through the project, we will continue to update our community on our website and through other forms of communication.
As we close this chapter and embark on a well-deserved summer break, I hope you will take time to rest, recharge, and create lasting memories with loved ones. Cherish the moments that make life beautiful, and let the lessons learned this year inspire you to continue pushing boundaries and embracing new opportunities. We extend our heartfelt appreciation to the entire Pinkerton community for your support, trust, and collaboration throughout the school year. Together We Are Pinkerton, and together we have achieved remarkable things.
Wishing you all a joyful and rejuvenating summer.
Sincerely,
Timothy J. Powers
Head of School
