Weekly Update 9/20/24
September 20th, 2024
Hello Pinkerton Community,
It’s been a busy week on campus! Teaching and learning are in full swing, the annual Club/Organization Fair ran smoothly, and we enjoyed our yearly visit from Ben Franklin on Tuesday in honor of Constitution Day. We also welcomed around 300 prospective students for an Open House, where they had the chance to meet teachers, participate in a mini-academic lesson, watch a preview of the upcoming school play, and tour our campus.
Spirit Week and Mack Plaque are just around the corner at Pinkerton. Mack Plaque Week isn’t just an event; it’s a longstanding tradition that brings together our entire school community—past and present—fostering a sense of pride, unity, and school spirit.
Next week is an opportunity to celebrate our school’s history and rivalry with Londonderry, honor our alumni, and create lasting memories. It’s packed with spirited activities, exciting sports events, and the highly anticipated Homecoming Dance. It’s a special time for students, parents, teachers, and alumni to come together and show their strong support for our school and community.
Here's a sneak peek of what to expect during Mack Plaque Week:

Homecoming Dance: Mack Plaque week will come to an end with the Homecoming Dance on Saturday, September 28, 2024. It's a night of fun, music, and creating memories that will last a lifetime. Any student driving to the dance should park in the Senior Lot that night.
I encourage all students, parents, and staff to participate and help make Mack Plaque Week 2024 a huge success. Let’s unite as one Pinkerton family and bring home the plaque (AGAIN)! This is our time to celebrate our school, our traditions, and our community. Go Astros! #TogetherWeArePinkerton
