Weekly Update 6/14/24
June 14th, 2024
Pinkerton Families and Friends,
This past weekend, I had the privilege of attending the New Hampshire Excellence in Education Awards (Edies) at the Center of New Hampshire. We are fortunate that three of Pinkerton's faculty and staff members were recognized. Mr. Nathan Phillips received the Career and Technical Education (CTE) Teacher of the Year award, Mr. Doug Cullen was honored as the Extended Learning Coordinator of the Year, and Christina DiMicelli received the NHSTE Susan Janosz Technology Impact Award. Congratulations to all three for their well-deserved accolades and welcome to the Edies Golden Bell Club!
As my first year as Associate Head of School comes to an end, I am filled with gratitude and pride for the incredible community that Pinkerton Academy has to offer. This year has been a time of learning, growth, and achievement, and I am honored to be part of such a supportive community.
Reflecting on this year, I am proud of being on a school-wide team that has introduced new programs, enhanced our curriculum, and strengthened our community partnerships. Our faculty and staff have shown commitment to providing a challenging environment for our students and their hard work and innovative teaching methods have played a crucial role in the successes we have witnessed.
With summer vacation just around the corner, I encourage everyone to take this time to relax, rejuvenate. To all members of the community, thank you for making this school year a success. Have a safe, enjoyable, and enriching summer break. I look forward to welcoming you all back in the fall, refreshed and ready for another fantastic year.
