Weekly Update 3/29/2024

March 29th, 2024 by Mike Perez

Pinkerton Families and Friends,

What a week it has been!  Last weekend I was able to go see the amazing show, The Addams Family,  put on by the Pinkerton Players.  Everyone involved from the performers, the pit musicians, and the stage crew did an amazing job.  If you missed it, you missed out!

This has been Women’s Week, and the PA National Honor Society hosted multiple podcasts with topics such as Diversity and Women in the Workforce.  These podcasts can be found on Spotify (Pinkerton NHS Podcast).  On Wednesday our underclassmen participated in PSAT / SAT testing while our seniors were able to see Recycled Percussion and attend the Career Fair with about 100 different companies excited to meet and talk with the class of 2024.  Thank you to everyone involved in making Wednesday go smoothly!

We have several events coming up over the next few weeks. On Monday night we have the World Language National Honor Society Induction.  AstroThon will be on April 6-7, 2024 and will run from 7 pm to 7 am with over 120 students and 13 faculty members participating.  These students have all raised $50 to participate and all are welcome to donate to help us raise $25,000 for the Every Child Fund at Boston Children's Hospital.  If you would like to donate here is the link:  https://events.dancemarathon.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=donate.event&eventID=6045

Come and see some of your favorite faculty members perform on the “BIG STAGE!”  The Faculty Play will be on Thursday 4/11 and Friday 4/12. All proceeds go to senior scholarships. Don’t miss this fun tradition!!

Weekly Highlights:
