Weekly Update 5/9/25

May 9th, 2025 by Mike Perez

Good afternoon, Pinkerton Community,

I hope everyone had a great week and is ready for the weekend.  This week has been an exciting week full of PA Staff Appreciation and the Annual Day of Giving sponsored by our Department of Advancement.

I want to shine the spotlight on all of the incredible individuals who dedicate their time, energy, and passion to the success and well-being of our students and to making our campus pleasant, welcoming and pristine: our amazing faculty and staff.  This past week has officially been  Staff Appreciation Week, and it's a fantastic opportunity for us all – students, parents, and community members – to express our sincere gratitude for the tireless efforts of all of our dedicated employees here at Pinkerton Academy.

Thank you to everyone who works to make Pinkerton a place where our students can learn and grow. Our teachers, school counselors and special educators pour their hearts into creating engaging and enriching learning environments.  Our paraprofessionals provide invaluable support in our classrooms, ensuring that all students have the assistance they need to thrive. Our administrative / management team keeps the school running smoothly and efficiently, handling countless tasks behind the scenes. Our building and grounds staff work diligently to maintain a clean and safe environment for everyone. Our food service staff nourishes our students with healthy meals.  Our security team / SROs make sure daily that the safety of our school members is a priority. Our school nurses keep health and well-being a number 1 priority.  And all our staff in various roles (IT Dept., Admissions, Advancement, Athletics, Human Resources, Stockbridge Theatre, Finance and all Admin. Assistants) contribute in countless ways to the positive and supportive atmosphere we value here at Pinkerton Academy.

Every single member of our staff plays a vital role in shaping the lives of our students and making Pinkerton Academy the wonderful place it is. Their commitment often goes above and beyond the regular school day, and their dedication does not go unnoticed.  Thank you to each and every member of our staff – your hard work, dedication, and care are deeply valued and truly make a difference in the lives of our students every single day.
