Pinkerton Academy Cadet Chosen for Flight Program
June 23rd, 2022
Pinkerton Academy Air Force Junior ROTC cadet Trey Baker was recently selected for the Order of the Daedalians Flying Training (DFT) Program. The DFT is a challenging, concentrated, instructional curriculum whose sole objective is to encourage selected JROTC cadets to pursue a career as a military aviator.
The program consists of closely supervised individual and group study activities in preparation for airborne instructional sorties leading to a successful solo (alone) flight in a general aviation aircraft. He was one of only two cadets out of 10 JROTC units in the state to be selected for this program. Baker is currently in his Sophomore year at Pinkerton and plans to become a pilot. He is the son of Michelle and Todd Baker of Hampstead, NH.
